I still really enjoy my sports, not yet playing the weekly football that we were a few months ago. When it was going, it was great, not quite to the same standard (yet), as the ‘Fast Forwards’ team, that I had in the UK, but definitely getting there. We play indoors, even in the sweltering summer heat, because it's a much faster game, …………the locals think that we’re “loco” (Spanish for mad!), but it gets the heart going, and sweats out the beer from the night before! When it gets a little cooler I will set up some matches with the other Costa Blanca teams, English and Spanish, and I also hope to enter the team into the next local tournament.

I arranged a surprise holiday to Cuenca for Gwenie and myself. It was a great success and just what the doctor ordered. The photo was taken against the historical city walls.
